Couples therapy Intensives

What is an Intensive? An intensive is an extended period of psychotherapy in a shorter period of time. I offer half day intensives (4.5 hours) and 2-day intensives (each day 4.5 hours). Often times, the 50 minute session is not long enough for couples to feel comfortable, engaged, and "dive" into the relational challenges they hope to work through. Intensives are a great option for folks who need some time for their nervous systems to warm up in the therapy room. Intensives are also great for folks who do not want to do weekly sessions, but would prefer to do more intense work in a shorter period of time. For more information on the structure of intensives, keep reading!

Half-Day Intensive

In a half-day intensive, we will meet for 4.5 hours (with a half hour lunch break and 2 10-minute breaks). These usually take place 9AM-1:30PM. We will spend this time exploring and diving into your relationship goals that we have set up in a meeting beforehand. Half day intensives are a great option for folks who want to do dedicated work in a shorter period of time, instead of meeting weekly. These can be virtual (for folks in CO and UT) or in person at my office in the Denver area. 2-day Intensives

2-day intensives consist of 2 half-day intensives (4.5 hours each day). These are similar to half-day intensives, just with double the time. We will still meet beforehand to discuss goals and desires of therapy. To schedule a consultation, please e-mail me at cotynolin@cocenterforsexualwellness.com.
